Families forced to flee
Delivering life-saving aid to those caught in the crossfire
Why Lebanon?
Years of economic turmoil, political instability, and regional conflict have left millions in Lebanon in urgent need of support.
Today, families in Lebanon are once again being forced to flee their homes as violence escalates across the region.
Caught in the crossfire, many have nowhere to turn.
The ongoing crisis in Lebanon
Displacement
Over 1 million people have been forced to flee ongoing fighting, many leaving their homes with very little. Families are sheltering in overcrowded centres, with relatives, or out in the open, with limited access to basic necessities.
Socioeconomic collapse
Lebanon’s prolonged economic crisis has pushed poverty and unemployment to extreme levels. As the conflict escalates, the cost of food, fuel, and essential goods continues to rise, placing even basic items out of reach for many families.
Damage to infrastructure
Homes, schools, roads, and water systems continue to be damaged or destroyed. This leaves families unable to safely return to their communities and homes.
What are we doing?
ReliefAid is delivering emergency aid to families displaced by conflict in Lebanon.
We responded during previous escalations, delivering food packages to families forced from their homes. As violence has intensified again, we are continuing this work, supporting families who have been displaced and those hosting them.
These are volatile conditions. Where the need is, we will be there.
Distributing food
When violence escalates, families are often left without access to food or basic supplies.
ReliefAid works through trusted regional networks to deliver emergency food packages and essential aid to families in the hardest-hit areas.
During previous distributions, families told us how quickly life changed.
One mother, who fled to a school-turned-shelter during shelling, later returned to a damaged home with broken windows and doors, told us:
Life was different there, no food, nothing was available.
Our food aid helped her access basic essentials like oil, salt, and sugar, to support her family.
Across Lebanon, families are also opening their homes to relatives fleeing violence. Our distributions support both displaced families and those hosting them, helping ease the pressure during incredibly difficult times.
Why your support matters?
As conflict escalates across the region, more families are being forced to flee with very little. Displacement is rising, needs are increasing, and access to essentials is becoming harder by the day.
Your support allows us to respond quickly – delivering life-saving aid to families when they need it most.
