On 22 April 2024, Mike took part in ‘Sing for peace’ at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church which raised $700 to provide humanitarian aid for families in Ukraine and Gaza. On his trip down to Hawke’s Bay, Mike also spoke at the Mission Centre, Sacred Heart and the Hawkes Bay Baitul Mokarram Masjid & Islamic Center, in order to share ReliefAid’s work providing aid that cannot wait in Ukraine and Gaza.
